Today is possibly my last day in contacts ... ever (gasp)! In two weeks I will have an evaluation to see if I am good to go for lasik, and if I am I will get it the next day.
I remember I got my first pair of contacts the week before the 8th grade dance. My parents were driving me home and I was like wow, so this is what it is like to see everything. I can't imagine the feeling of being able to wake up and just see like a normal person :) So until then, I will have two weeks of glasses. I might have to workout blind because I never really mastered the running in glasses thing. Cross your fingers I am a good candidate for lasik!
