This week our friends graciously gave us some free tickets to Taste of the South. It is a black-tie event that features about seven southern states. There is plenty of food and drink (at North Carolina's table I sampled eastern NC bbq and Krsipy Kreme doughnut), and and a band. It was basically a D.C. prom. It was fun to get all dolled up for the night and looking at my hot date. How handsome!
